Service Exchange units have been reconditioned by our engineers to exacting standards; friction parts replaced, gear trains checked macroscopically, gears and shaft undergo Rockwell C hardness testing, over 50 mandatory checks and tests are completed during reassembly-just like a reconditioned gearbox except these are ready for immediate shipping.
For your convenience we stock a large number of reconditioned transmissions for sale on a service exchange basis.
We may require your unit in first to ensure the supplied unit is an exact match and we also offer an ancillary swap service where we will take your ancillaries off the displaced unit and attach to our service exchange. We have your old unit (the exchange) which then becomes our ‘raw material’ and is reconditioned for the next guy. The advantage of service exchange is obviously speed, reduced downtime leading to reduced losses. However, if you only have one or two slight issues with your unit our specified repair service may be a better option – the choice is yours.

Q. What about all the bits connected to my gearbox?
A. Easy – we have your own unit in, just as it came out of the vehicle, and we will remove intarder, range, valve blocks etc., and fit them to your new box.
